Greenwood Management TV: In this short news clip, we talk about the huge drop in deforestation in the Amazon.
A 47.5% decline in deforestation has been reported in the last year according to the brazilian government.
The data received was from a satellite and revealed the highest drop ever since records began in 1988.
The latest decrease totals up to a 90% drop since the peak of deforestation during 2004. A satellite expert from the institution for science at stanford university also says that the results are strong enough to suggest a bigger additional decrease in deforestation in the latest totals.
