What is Nintendo Land all about? Nintendo Land is a game that is set in a theme park/carnival type atmosphere and will allow gamers to play 12 different mini games that are based on some of the most popular games that Nintendo has released over the years Mario, Luigi, Metroid, Pikmin, F-Zero, The Legend of Zelda, Donkey Kong, and more. Many of the mini games in Nintendo Land support up to five players by utilizing 4 Wii remotes, the Nunchucks, and the game pad.

Playing these mini games will effectively demonstrate the functionality of the Wii U system, remote, and accessories and will also introduce people who have not played Nintendo games to some of the more popular game franchises Nintendo has in its collection. Nintendo Land can also be purchased separately.

For people who are familiar with Nintendo games and people who have the original Wii system, both versions of the Wii U game system will be compatible with all of your original Wii games. Both the basic set and the deluxe version will also be compatible with most of the accessories for the original Wii console.

Third party support has also been strong for the introduction of the new Wii U and many of your favorites and a few new ones will be part of the Wii U games arsenal.
